Pot Dealer is an artist's book featuring over 150 terracotta planters by Los Angeles-based painter Ben Sanders, painted with crazy faces in jubilant colors, each with its own personality.
Those that appreciate book design will fall in love with the playful construction and layout of this volume, designed by Studio Elana Schlenker, the powerhouse behind Gratuitous Type magazine. The vibrant still-life photographs throughout were taken by Josh Schaedel, founder of Fulcrum Press in East LA.
The “Pothead” section of the book features portraits of collectors who have amassed sizable collections of Ben’s pots over the years. In the back of the book, a page of stickers and blank pot templates are provided so you can make your very own face pot!
